Jorgen wanted a motorcycle and He got something that sort of resembles one. He was quite thrilled with it. It is quite a bit less money than a regular motorcycle and is just right for him for now. I am not real sure what to call it, but Jorgen loves his "green machine".

We had an eventful Christmas Morning. With much stealth we were able to surprise Brion with his Christmas wish for years.... a puppy!!!! Yep, I finally relented and bought a Golden Retriever. Brion was sooo thrilled to have his dog. He named her Sunny and takes very good care of her. Sunny is the sweetest dog. She has grown a lot since I bought her the first week of Dec.. The Breeder held onto her for me until Christmas. She came potty trained so we let her sleep in the mud room. That is as far as she will be coming into the house. She is very well behaved and pretty obedient for a puppy.

The Nutcracker

Ballet Idaho was bought out this year by a new management and things have been a bit different. The auditions were grueling. 80 children tried out for Kortlyn's part and only 20 made it. The rehearsals have been long and a lot of them. If Kortlyn didn't love it so much and wasn't so good at it, I most definitely would not have her do it. They keep telling us that this is going to be a historic year for the Nutcracker in Idaho. The special effects are supposedly top notch. I was pretty impressed with last year's. I will be interested to see how they top it. The Professional dancers are very talented and amazing to watch. I feel thrilled that Kort can be a part of it. I know that some of the shows are sold out. But I think there are still tickets for Sat. night's performance. Just call Select-A-Seat.
