What is that?!!?

These are Brion's tonsils. Rather gruesome
if you ask me. They were a little over an inch in diameter.

Right after Brion's Tonsilectomy, Brion says, "wow, I can actually swallow with out having to try so hard." He was very swollen after surgery but the swelling was much less of an obstruction than the tonsils. They were enormous.

We finally put some trees in to hopefully hide our stark, ostentatious home. We got an amazingly good deal on this home, however, the landscaping might drain us.

Why do we have so many chickens?

Our second mail order of chickens survived the mail and are doing great. Eight of the 1st batch survived, so now we have 34 chickens. Eggs anyone?

Life on the Farm

We have really enjoyed all the projects that we have had to do on our little farm. (well, almost all... putting in our fence around our back yard has not been so enjoyable, but we are almost done and do feel a sense of gratification for doing it ourselves.

I love watching Eric on his tractor. He is as happy as a boy with his favorite toy. I think what makes him really happy is that he paid cash for it and it is already starting to pay us back.

Jorgen wanted a motorcycle and He got something that sort of resembles one. He was quite thrilled with it. It is quite a bit less money than a regular motorcycle and is just right for him for now. I am not real sure what to call it, but Jorgen loves his "green machine".

We had an eventful Christmas Morning. With much stealth we were able to surprise Brion with his Christmas wish for years.... a puppy!!!! Yep, I finally relented and bought a Golden Retriever. Brion was sooo thrilled to have his dog. He named her Sunny and takes very good care of her. Sunny is the sweetest dog. She has grown a lot since I bought her the first week of Dec.. The Breeder held onto her for me until Christmas. She came potty trained so we let her sleep in the mud room. That is as far as she will be coming into the house. She is very well behaved and pretty obedient for a puppy.
